Online Advertising - How much does it cost for CPC's and CPM's?


General online advertising question....on average, how much does it cost to do a CPC or CPM ad???

It is hard to give an "average" amount as the cost for both CPC and CPM depends on a number of factors

For CPM campaigns:

- where are you advertising as premium sites will be more expensive and can cost $50/CPM or even more while many no-name sites can sell you $0.50 CPM rates

For CPC campaigns:

- what keywords are you targeting -- e.g. "diamond earrings" cost $2.40 per click in Google Adwords while "1 carat princess cut diamond engagement ring" will cost only $0.05
