Which TV advertising schedule would you buy? |
Would you rather spend $6,000 on the #1 TV station in the market to get 24 TV commercials that will make 1,399,000 impressions? Or鈥?br /> Would you rather spend $6,000 on the #2, #3 and #4 TV stations in the market to get 154 TV commercials that will make 3,646,000 impressions? I'm assuming you have a generic product or service or that these stations have similar programing (like abc, nbc and cbs and not MTV, Nickelodeon and TLC) or both. If that's the case definitely go with the second scenario. I'm guessing the timing is the same as well and not 8pm on one scenario and 2am in another. The number of views and the frequency you get is key also depending on the metrics they give you it might be possible see which station is the best. In all your advertising you want a person to see some sort of advertising from you that is delivering a similar message and theme at least 4 times in a month. If someone sees your commercial once they probably will forget it, but if they see your commercial twice and a flyer in the mail once they're more likely to buy your product than seeing it on the number one station. Really the #1 station is no different than the #101 if you're getting the same amount of impressions. It depends. You need to break those numbers in a demographic group and find the one you want to sell. |
