I'm getting new business cards. Would it be appropriate to leave the "www" off of my website address now that

we don't really use that anymore-(when did we stop using that and why?) Is it more au currant, or does it look better to leave it on?
Thanks

I'm a graphic designer that works in marketing. We have the www off our cards and only 1 person has ever mentioned it about being confused. That's out of thousands of cards that have been given out over the course of like 3 years.

If it works with the design, leave it off... if you have room & it works, leave it on. Source(s): love designing!
yep - just add the .com / .org / . whatever and most folk work it out
Leave it off. You can also stop putting parenthesis around the area code of your phone number. Nothing screams "small town!" like no area code or (208) 555-1212.

We quit using www because it's assumed.
The only thing with leaving it off is there might be some people that are new to computers and won't know how to look it up properly. I would go ahead and add it. Jennifer
