create a free google alert as a part of the options for google mail. something with comprehensive key words like "upcoming seminar" or just 'seminars' - make it come to your email on a daily basis. You will receive news releases and blog entries - it is a very helpful tool to get ideas where people publish their announcements. you can look at them and make a choice of where to announce it so it makes strongest impact.
