Can any one give me some tips on getting commercial cleaning contracts? |
I'm a new start up, however have a lot of experience in all aspects, just need some effective suggestions. I would start spending time getting out there and building relationships with people by joining networking groups. People use services from people they know and like, so the more you know out there, the more business you'll get. It's going to depend on a number of things(call and get Get quotes from other businesses), including what the going rate is in your area and frequency. If you're cleaning an office 5 days/wk you can charge by the sq. ft., anywhere from 7 cents to 15 cents. You can charge more for restaurants and medical facilities. If you're only cleaning a couple times a week, it's best to figure out an hourly rate and estimate your time. Hourly rates usually run from $15 - $25/hr.
