What is the importance of the study of buyers' behaviour ? |
What is the importance of the study of buyers' behaviour ? so that companies can maximise sales. for example, there is one company selling orange juice (not sure the name) and advertise extensively especially in the morning. Their sales never improve. later the company make a study on the consumer behaviour and discover that consumer in that market never like to consume orange juice in the morning. it is consumed later part of the day. so the company improvise and shift their ads to a different timeframe. their sales pick-up. lesson learn: the company originate from (i think) either USA or UK where orange juice is consumed in the morning. The market mentioned earlier are the french. Source(s): actual case study i read from some contemporary marketing book some years back. It is good to do "study of buyers' behaviour" and adjust your dealing accordingly. This will bring many clients back to you when he is in need. |
