Does anyone have a new idea on a student business?


In my high school economics class, we start and run a student business. I made a vow to be more successful than last year's class which sold nearly 800 hoodies with our school logo on them. I don't think we will be as successful if we do the same thing this year with just a new design. Any ideas on a new direction or how to improve our current idea would be very much appreciated!

1) collect recipes for kids - write, illustrate, self publish and sell an after school cookbook for kids.
2) start a green house for fresh herbs to sell at local farmer's markets - or local restaurants.
3) start an online mentoring system for your school - using a small registration fee to do computer match ups of tutors and students.
4) apply to local businesses for special coupons, put them all into one book and sell it.
5) have everybody on your team create a surplus of their favorite hobby and have a craft sale right before the holidays
