Need info on companies...? |
I am doing research on various companies in my area (employee size, contact info, company type, etc.). Does anyone know any good search engines or websites to get this kind of info? I'm already familiar with Manta and Hoovers. Just wondering if there are any others. Thanks! If the Companies You are researching are publicly traded, such as Wal-Mart or General Electric, go to MSN.com web site, click on "Money", on the left side will be a column of topics. Go down to Investing, click on "stock research", in the upper middle will be a box with the cursor blinking, to the right is the GO button and then find symbol, click on "find symbol". Use the "Search for symbol by company name" option. Type in the company's name, click on "GO" button. This will bring up the company You wish to research. There will be a column to the left under "Fundamentals" is "Company Report" this will give You the number of employees, head quarters location, amount of income, what they do, and phone and fax numbers. I think you got the best ones, I can't think of any others. Vault.com has a ton of good information. |
