Can some one tell me who are head hunters specificallly.. a bit more detail wud be appreciated.? Headhunters earn their living by finding and evaluating job candidates for the benefit of their clients. Some are better at this than others, and you should know what distinguishes a good headhunter from a not-so-good one -- at least from the standpoint of the job hunter. This will help you avoid (a) wasting your time, (b) divulging confidential information to the wrong people, and (c) developing false hopes. I hope that helps. I'm thinking a head hunter is a person who hunts people, it could be a less extreme term meaning a bounty hunter or a cop. But when I think of a head hunter I really do think of someone who hunts people. Like thousands of years ago when people fought in war (well this is used today as well) that when a soldier or tribesmen killed an opponent, they chopped their head off and brought it back to their tribe as a trophy of sorts. |
