Is it possible to sell an idea? |
I have this super idea for a company like snapfish, or even the photo-type area of a big chain like Target or Wal-Mart. I am not really sure if logistically it would work out, or even be cost effective. Is it possible to sell an idea, and let them figure out the rest, or what would be the best way to go about something like this? uspto.gov is a great place to first patent/trademark an idea. You need to figure out the cost effectiveness, the probability scenarios, etc., in order to have a good plan. A company may be able to "figure out the rest" from there, but you need to present something that has been researched from several angles. WHY NOT?
