the thing marketing is used for. product is one of the 4p thats called marketing mix:
P -roduct
P -lace
P -rise
P -romotion

if not a product (or service) everything looses the importance

High price = high quality perception when there's a brand.

A product is not necessarity perceived as high value just because it has a high price if the brand is not recognized.
