im a promoter & would like the recipe for heavy duty wheat paste...i was told 1 cup flour 1 water is best, i find it too gunky & cant glue the thick posters too well...any promoters out there with any advice? thank you =]
Firstly you must use the finest ground cake flour and not a course grind. Secondly, you need to add 2 parts of water to 1 part flour to get a nice consistency.
Bear in mind that if it's too thick it will be difficult and messy to apply and if it's too runny, it can soak through and damage the posters.
Alternatively, use proper water-based poster glue. |
