Why do mobile phone salesmen insist on calling u 15 times a day? Any salesperson (mobile phones or else) are paid to make sales. If you were a salesperson and would not get a definite "no", would you give up or continue to call? I hope you would continue, as otherwise you'd be out of a job. After all, a salesperson who does not try to sell, cannot be a saleperson. But perhaps it's also down to the culture in this country: We seem to shy to deliver a clear "no". As long as you are vague, a salesperson will take your answer for encouragement. If you clearly tell them "Thanks, I am definately not interested, please do not call again", they won't. if you are in the uk you can contact bt and request that all sales calls to your number are blocked They may call me a million times a day, but their call is never answered. All my friends and family have their own tunes, the rest is left to the answer machine. They never talk to that. Sorted. Because they get paid to ? |
