Every technique used in marketing communications has its equivalent on the web, e.g.: - printed newsletters - electronic newsletters - seminars - webinars - trade fairs - virtual trade fairs - technotes - pdf versions of technotes - press releases - blogs - trade press advertising - google advertising and so on Only, the web-based versions come at a fraction of the cost of their conventional marketing equivalents, and in addition, they have much better metrics. I would question any marketing department that does not allocate a significant part of its resources to web-based techniques. |
