Cheap tv/cable commercial ads?

How or where can I advertise a product on tv/cable for less than $100?

Advertising on your local cable channels is the least expensive method for reaching your TV audience. I remember that it was something around $50 per 30 sec ad. Now you have to remember that one ad will be like wasting your money, because you need to reinforce that ad in viewers' mind over and over in order to get any results.

Most people look at advertising as an expense and that is absolutely wrong. Look at advertising as an investment, and learn what ads really worked by measuring its successes or failures. Learn from it what works and doesn't work so that you can avoid same pitfall in the future.

Hope that helps,

Hamada
Before you advertise anything, make sure that you've clearly identified your target audience and know what problem of theirs that you're solving. Without this basic understanding, you'll be wasting your time and money.

Next, make sure that the right message goes to the right people at the right time. This means that an ad shown in the middle of the night on cable channel 134 should reach your target demographic, or don't do it.
