How hard is an executive assistant position to CEO, CFO, or CMO?

Is it hell? or does it depend on industry? i have been an assistant to 2 partners for a year and a half now, so i have experience with high level positions.

Depends on the company and the industry. An exec assistant to the CEO of a small company (with a few million in sales) may do nothing more than answer phones and work a 40-hour week. If the company is Fortune 100 (billions in sales), it may involve traveling with your boss, scheduling his travel, conferences, meetings, supervising several other assistants, etc. so your week runs up to 60-70 hours a week.
It depends on the industry, the company, and mostly the person you are working for. It's a hard and busy job in any case.
