Where do you think the auto industry is going over the next five years? Is it still worth trying to work for?

I'm not to familiar with this industry I may have an opportunity to work in, is it still worth it based on how the auto industry is right now? Do any insiders have an idea of the forceast for the auto industry?? Please help! Big decision

The auto industry will always make money no matter what alternative fuels we end up using, people will always want and need automobiles to drive and have mobility
soon as electricity cars come up then you will dead broke
American car companies have to huge problems. Legacy cost and perceived value. Legacy cost are the cost the old companies have to pay in pensions and maintaining old buildings so they are locked into doing things the way they always did. The second is most people under 30 have never had a new American car so don't even look at them and advice their friends to buy a used Toyota because they hold value.
