Name one internal and three external ways that someone can recruit a network administrator. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each recruiting method? An internal way to recruit a network administrator is to advertise the job opening to your current employees. Spell out what you are looking for, salary, etc just as if you would running an ad in the newspapers. Advantage of this method is that it is inexpensive, helps employee morale, you already have first hand knowledge of the person you hire. Can't think of a disadvantage other than you will not get any qualified applicants. Also you might have to hire someone from the outside and any internal applicants might be a bit upset on not being chosen. Outside ways: Newspaper ad Hire a recruiter Advertise online These are going to cost more especially a recruiter. And take more time checking references, etc. The advantage is you should get plenty of applications(resumes) to choose from thereby increasing the chances of hiring a great employee. |
