Life budget?

I am creating a budget and wanted to know if my pricing is in the ballpark and if I have disregarded anything....I am single so I expect my costs to be a little lower with electricity and water but would like someone who knows more about it to tell me if it looks legit.

Thanks :)

1 Bedroom Home = 500/mth
Food = 200/mth
Cable w/ Internet = 90/mth
Electric = 100/mth
Water = 50/mth
Haircut = 10/mth
Gasoline = 150/mth
Automobile w/ Ins = 203/mth
Cellphone = 40/mth
Tivo/Music = 30/mth

Water bill seems high to me but I guess it could be different from where I'm from. Dentist every month?
A lot of it depends on where you live and where you work. $500 a month for a one bedroom won't get you very far in some communities and will be plenty in others. I would set aside a specific amount each month so you're building a little bit of a savings for those unexpected things like your car dying or unexpected medical bills etc. I have Dish/DSL as opposed to Cable/Internet. It's a little cheaper and I think you get more for the $. Good luck getting a $10 hair cut. Even if you don't tip your a couple bucks low.
