Does this mean i get the job? |
i had an interview for a job yesterday and they did a background check and now they want me to come back for a drug test. does that mean im getting the job?? what do you think? It depends where you applied. If it's Wal Mart, a grocery store, or any low-level job, then yes, you probably are newly employed. Congrats! If it's middle-management or higher, then no, it's just another step in the process, and they still might shoot you down. yes maybe no? lol That means you have a chance ,or they think you are a dopehead and want an excuse to tell you no.... Not for sure. Most places when they are hiring employees will require a drug test to continue the interview process. I wouldn't get your hopes up too much, at this point you are still competing. at my company all full time candidates have to go for drug testing, part time associates do not. they are probably still in the narrowing it down phase but the fact that they called you back is a good thing! Oh and by the way, this is a "low level" grocery store thank you stellucci Pretty sure you got it. Why would they waste money on a drug test if they wasn't going to hire you.
