Help! Sold car on eBay, buyer did not pay deposit in time.?


Hello - thanks for reading. We sold our car this past weekend on eBay, and we have followed all proper courses to contact and inform our buyer. Anyways, we had a deposit due by this evening, and have heard nothing from them - no check in the mail and no $ in PayPal. Any advice? We cannot use the 'unpaid item' policy until a few more days.

You can request the buyer info online from ebay. Give them a phone call. Leave them a message if needed. Let them know you will report them as non paying if this cannot be resolved.
Give the person more time or try to contact them. If they don't buy the car then cancel the winning bid and give it to the second bidder
I would ask this question on the community boards at eBay, the regulars there always have good advice.
Wait until you can use the unpaid dispute. I had a person win an auction ,she didn't pay but after I filed the dispute, she paid it.
