How can I reject my boss' invitation to dinner?

Should I tell him personally, call him or send an email?

I would tell him personally because it just sounds the more honest, respectful and well mature thing to do. But if it seems to akward then send him an email. Be sure to tell him how you appreciate the invitation and it would be nice but perhaps some other time. Why did he invite you to dinner? Hope your day is going great!

Have a zestful day!

Tell him personally. I'm sure if you've got a legit reason, he/she won't have a problem.
Tell him in person.
Tell him the truth y u cant come,If he invited by mail then mail him,,,if personally the personally tell him.
Tell him in person that you are sorry that you can't make it, but you have something else you need to do at that time.
