Does anyone else hate Auto-Attendants?


That's the automated menu you get when you call a company and you have answer 30 stupid questions before they place you on hold for 10 minutes.

And then they compound it with some of the God Awful sleep inspiring elevator muzak
Everyone hates them. Nine times out of ten, the options I'm given have nothing to do with why I'm calling. Most large companies do not think like a customer.
Actually, I kind of prefer them. I'm a private sort of person, and the automated menus allow me to do a lot of things without having to explain what I need to some person who has no business in MY business! I can't say that I care much for the choice of music most of the time, though ;-)
