When would you use a two population test with a large sample size at your place of employment, in your education, or in politics?
Could gender be used as a variable in the creation of a test of two populations? Why or why not?
i think you can but you would need to test only a core sample not all of them . the best would be a random sample where you have a list of names and figure a number and count from there for example say your list is 100 names you can have numbers in a pot and pull a number out say 6 you would count six names down and start there and after that name count six again and do that until you are at the end of the list . doing by gender is a sample but it would not be a wide range of a sample . there are issues with bias and rules for getting a clean result and the way the question is asked is also taken into condersation with results there are alot of factors to consider here and not just who to ask |
