I have an idea and homemade prototype do i get patent first or professional prototype?



i dont want it stolen but dont know what to do. this will be in every mothers house.guaranteed. ! can the manufacturer of the prototype steal it.? i dont want to take any chances
i need a patent,prototype,manufacturer,... a way to get itt into stores or tv but it will sell. sum1 help

I don't have your answer, but I have the same problem...good luck!!!
and to the guy who listed davidson....they charge $695 at the bottom end with a "confidetiality agreement" but they can't tell you for sure that no one will have access to your idea in the process.
Patent, or start the process at least.
Well what I'd certainly do first of all is most definitely get your prototype patented first. Then following that then go and make your prototype of you're upcoming product from there alright! Never go and simply do it the other way around otherwise everything that you had put into it would most definitely be gone or even lost forever. Besides that you don't particularly want someone else getting your credit for the actual design of the item for which you've developed and researched personally do you? Then that's why you should take all the necessary precautions when trying to put your idea,design of product into motion.
