Legal key factors in business decisions?

Legal key factors in business decisions?

There are severall legal factors which affect business decision.

The most obvious is to simply evaluate if the decision being made is legal. For example, I may decided that I only want people between the age of 38 and 40 as my employees but that decision isn't legal so I can't make it.

Tax issues are another legal factor which needs to be considered. Often decisions are made and purchases are structured with the tax implications playing a major role.

Finally, potential legal liability is often considered. For example If I want to fire an employee, but they may sue, what will it cost me and what are the likeliness that my grounds for dismissal would be upheld. Source(s): Senior financial controller
