How much is a half dollar of1957 and a 1962 American?

They are both silver

Coin catalogs and magazines list these Franklin silver halves at over $7-$8 each in circulated grades, but most dealers would sell them for only $5 per piece. In average circulated grades, later date Franklins are worth just a little over their bullion values. The 1957 and 1962 are not rare dates for half dollars.
