Would anyone purchase from me or someone else a gift card to macys worth $250? I think you mean the "face value" is $250. It may be "worth" considerably less. Value or worth is determined by what price a willing buyer and a willing seller agree upon, so the worth may end up being just $25 (or more, or less) if you can't find someone to pay you more for it. But if the price is right, and you offer it to someone who is willing to take a chance you are not selling a card with no value left on it, then you should be able to find a buyer. Try craigslist.org to advertise for free. I don't know if it's a good idea, but here's an idea: go to macy, wait for someone with something expensive to come to the register. offer it to them (at some discount, unless they want to do you a favor.) Get the cashier to show them the value of the card, to prove you aren't trying to rip them off. Sell it to them.
