How do you keep yourself motivated at work? |
I have a decent job in the financial industry. I often find myself bored and unprodcutive. The thing is if I really worked very hard it would lead to some outstanding opportunities yet I don't push. How do you keep yourself motivated to perform at a high level? How do you keep your passion about work going strong? King Vixen has a good idea. Keep a picture of something you want really bad somewhere you can see it every day. Many jobs are repetitious and can get boring after a while, but you can make it more interesting by creating a challenge for yourself every day. You work with numbers and numbers can be challenging. Think of ways you can save your customers money by digging in deep and finding corners to cut. If you can't find any passion in the financial industry, then maybe you need to consider another industry. Good luck and i hope you find your niche. Just remember that when your doing stuff, your day goes by soo much faster. money u want more money everyone loves money I keep a picture of a BMW in my cube. Evertime I drag in I look at the picture and know it will pay off someday. I imagine myself becoming top manager or even CEO...Only way to make it into a top position is to be motivated to succeed and work behind the norms...Go out your way to stay focus by dreaming of becoming partner or some high position. |
