Where is better to live for a 35 yr old gal: Boca Raton or Miami Beach? And what's good and bad about both?
I actually just moved from upstate ny to FL a few years ago and it was a MAJOR adjustment. I hated it at first but know I feel FL is home even though I lived in ny for about 10 years. I just recently moved to colroado from FL a few months ago for my bf's contracting job and im not crazy about it here at all. There is just something about florida that makes it special. There are so many different types there that everyone fits in even if you dont feel like it at first. I wouldnt reccomend miami beach at all but then again it really depends what your looking for. In miami they are biggere jerks then in naples and naples about 1 1/2 years ago was named the most expensive place to live in the U.S. Miami is very busy and all about who has what toys. Some places of miami are amazing but where there is beauty there is also alot of slum's and crime in certain areas. Im not really familiar with Boca Raton but I have heard good things from others. It really is just what your looking for. If you are married and have kids I would say Boca. If you are single and more mellow and looking to settle down I would say Boca. But if you 35 and still having the time of your life partying it up and into high fashion and all they toys and just looking for a goodtime then Iwould say Miami. Goodluck Boca Raton = Where old New Yorkers go to die, unless you are 80 and Jewish you don't want to live in Boca. Miami is definitely for a younger crowd.
