28 y/o looking to begin a career in the office world, but I am only a high school grad with no experience?

I have spent my life in dead end physical labor jobs like cable tech,e.m.t.,and landscaper. These are not the type of jobs that suite my personality and tend to frustrate me easily, I always feel that I should've had a career by now! How does someone with a high school diploma go about getting a "good" job without going back to school?

I know exactly how you feel. I spent years wasting time and hating customers in retail. I'm now an office manager and I'm sooo glad I'm out of sales. My advice to you is make sure your typing and customer service skills are good and go check out a temp place like Kelly Services, or Manpower and see what kind of entry level thing they can get you into. You can usually go from temp to permanent with benefits and all that. Good luck!!!
Obviously you are an ambitous person not afraid to discover a new career. A quality which is very admirable. I am the C.E.O. of a factory direct resourcing group and might possibly be able to assist you in your transition. My website is http://www.chmgroupinc.com/ I have several project managers that had little or NO experience when I first employed them. I would be willing to dicuss with you some options for you within my firm if you TRULY want to succeed in a career. If interested please contact me via my cell; 208-860-8518.
