When giving notice of quitting your job, should it be verbal or written.?

It should be written, that way you can have something down on paper as to your reasons, and it can't be twisted later.
Usually both; write a quick letter and hand it to your boss after resigning
Written always.
In the business world for over 39-years.
Verbal if you have a spine, written if your scared of your boss
Both is best.
Written--you ALWAYS want everything in writing. You can prove that you wrote something and sent it. You can't always prove that you said something.
