Does anyone know how old you're required to be to work at Starbucks?


There's a Starbucks being built right up the street from where I live and just so happens I need a job. I know they're going to need some employees because it's just now opening. I'm 16 and I'm hoping they're not going to tell me I have to be 18 to work there.(I've tried to work at an icecream place and they told me I need to be 18 to work the machines...-_-) So does anyone who has worked or works in a Starbucks before or anyone in general, know how old you need to be to work there?

... why don't you just call them up and ask them. They would have an answer you are looking for. Instead of wasting your time with the number of wrong answers you would get here you could have called the manager of your closest store, asked your question, and gotten your answer.
It's almost always 18.
Sorry to tell you but, it's also 18.
I'm not sure where you live but here are a few places that will hire you at 16:
Best Buy
Circuit City
Chic-fil-a
Target
The law requires you to be 16.

And, in dealing with their employees, intelligence is not a factor.
