Is cashiering a woman's job?


I just got hired as a cashier at walmart. I have noticed that I have not seen one man that is a cashier there or anywhere. I don't want to look like an outcast.

No, cashiering is not a woman's job. There are PLENTY of men as cashiers at the Walmart near me. As well as any other place I shop. Good luck with the job!
Being the only man in a group of women is never a bad thing...=)
not to worry -- just take the job and be happy that you have one and be very nice and you might meet a very lucky lady.

I know a 17 year old guy that works at wal-mart as a cashier. He used to be a greeter, but then he got upgraded to a cashier. Ever since he became a cashier, he looked like he didn't get rest for years!
