The Interviewer Asks " Sell Me This Water Bottle On My Desk"? |
How would you do it and professionally so you can get the job? Tell the interviewer, "This water will not only hydrate you, but you need to know it was bottled directly at the fountain of youth. It will automatically add twenty five years to your lifespan, cure cancer, and increase your I.Q. by 50%. Just lie like all advertisers do and I'm sure he/she will be very impressed. Make sure you hand it to him and let him hold it in hands while you speak I something like, "Don't you hate when you're thirsty, you grab a big glass of water and start chugging it down only to realize that the taste is stale? Its awful. Now with this brand of water, you'll get a clean taste every time..." Yadda yadda. "have you heard of the new danger to our children? It is called dihydrogen monoxide. The problem with this substance is that no one knows that it is dangerous. If the temperature changes dramtically it can change form and be very harmful. Also too much of it can be bad for your health. This bottle will make sure the temperature is regulated and the quantity does not exceed the healthy amount needed. This bottle will protect our children from being exposed to the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide and will make sure it is used for the intended purpose and is benficial to their health. This bottle is quite possibly saving our children and the next generation of this country. If you don't buy this bottle you must hate children. You don't hate children. Do you?..." first you have to know what your potential boss is wanting to know. they want to know how well you can read a customer, how you can convince that your product is right for them in a way that relates to them, how you word things, and also how you would handle the situation shall it arise... and most importantly CAN THIS PERSON SELL? lets pretend its "FIJI" water YOU: " hi there!! i like your earrings those are nice. let me take a minute to tell you a little bit about this product. fiji water is bottled straight at the source, no chemicals involved in this product. fiji water is actually the cleanest most pure bottled water there is. this is because FIJI is thousands of miles away from any industrialized continent making the rain water almost pure. it then falls into a large gorge that actually purifies it and adds minerals your daily routine needs. it also tastes great with those little packets of tea everyone is talking about"... smile, keep open body language and use eye contact hope i helped! & good luck with your job hunt!! [even if the water isnt fiji memorize this and pretend that it is!! even if your interviewer doesnt ask you to do his and you see a bottle of water take it in your hand and show him your skills anyway!! i love fiji water that is how i know all the above facts lol] Explain how owning that water bottle will make his life better. It will allow him to drink more water to improve his health, give him a chance to agree what water is healthy and he wants to be healthy. Drinking bottle water will make him more attractive, people who drink water look healthy and smart, doesn't the interviewer want to look smart, don't they agree it does make them look better. Now that they agree it will make them healthier and better looking offer to let that water bottle be theirs for the low low price of only $2.49, they have to agree that is a small price to assure their future health and happiness. But wait you will throw in a 16 ounces of mountain spring water that is all natural organic water. If they hesitate to buy tell them you will make if fruit flavored water. End with asking them how they wish to pay. you will assume they want the water, how could they not want the water? Bottled water hmm. Water is available everywhere for the most part, heck can get it from your kitchen sink at virtually no cost can't you? Sure you can. But how clean is it? How pure is it? Chlorine, toxic spills, E-coli from waste seeping into our underground natural filtration system, not a problem years ago, but a growing problem now, and destined to grow worse. How many times have you read in the news that a community must boil their water? How quick where they to announce this? An hour, two hours, or 24 hours? In the meantime your whole family could have been drinking tainted water. So what is the solution? A quicker warning? More government intervention which by the way slows things down. No a safe secure quality tested water like our product. Why take the chance, when things go bad you purchase it, why not be preventative and insure that you do not end up with something like E-coli before a warning can be issued. Protect your family now, don't wit for what will inevitably to happen. For a few dollars a month you can insure that you and your family will be the recipients of a pure, quality tested, virus free water supply. The choice is yours, the chance you take is yours, and your family's. What do you think? |
