First Job.? |
I'm trying to get my first job(i'm 16). But I never know what I'm suppose to put in the Skills & Qualifications box. I mean what skills do I need to present to them to be a cashier/stock boy? What did you guys put in them? I don't really have any skills per say. I get a 4.0 in school, I take calculus, I'm a hardworker, and love talking to people, active(use to play soccer for the school), good with computers. I don't know anything else. How would I word all that to make a standout from the rest of the kids who apply? You could say that you have the ability and desire to learn and that you take direction well. That's what you will need to be doing at age 16 in your first job - learning and building new skills. You migh also mention that you have great social skills - working with the public requires that. Good luck! Sell yourself. Your qualifications are, you are a hardworker, willing to get the job done, you are customer service oriented (enjoy helping with others). You are knowledgeable about computers. That would be great for a first timer. Earn extra, from home in your spare time...Make Easy Money giving Surveys online. Make up to $25 per hour.
