SO i WANNA GET A JOB SHOULD i LOOK FOR ONE AFTER SCHOOL STARTS? |
i wanna get a part time job,im 16, but no one is hireing right now should i look after school starts again? do u think they would mosty likely be hiering sence alot of kids stop working when school starts? It is possible there could be some positions open. I would put some applications in a couple of weeks because the college stundents will be heading back to school. Just a hint when you fill out the application please take your time and check your spelling. Go in and be polite , speak proper english and ask for a pplication. Please have your own pen to fill out your application. Fill it out in the food court if you are in a mall and bring it back to the store. I am only telling you this because I use to run a retail store and these were my pet peeves when kids would come to apply for a job. Good Luck! It depends upon what grade you're in or if you're in college. If you are still in high school, waiting till school starts will ensure you'll have a job once all the college kids go back to school. However there is the fact that you will have to balance your homework and other obligations. Getting one during the school year is smartest because then you'll be guaranteed a job come summer when you can work more hours, but you need to fit your job schedule to school and set your priorities. sure why not... if you can't find a job now, theres not much u can do but wait. just keep trying; u'll find somethin First, think about typing your question in lower case rather than all caps. Second, learn to use spell check. It's spelled "hiring" nor "hireing and/or hiering. It's also spelled "sense", not "sence". Third, punctuation is a good thing. Use it. Finally, I think you should worry more about school and less about any job you might get that doesn't require the ability to spell or punctuate properly. Age is a discriminative factor when it comes to getting employed. Because employers know that the younger the worker, the less they get paid and thus they would get a better chance in getting the position. This also applies to people who have previous work experience. So I suggest you find a job ASAP Remember this: Experience is the employer's first priority i would keep looking right now. the problem is you being 16 you can't work all the hours people need. i know in places we worked our biggest problem was finding people who could work past midnight and people who could work during the lunch. plus mor epeople get jobs when schoo lstarts because everyone is back from vacations and college students will be returning from home. so don't stop looking righ tnow! and if all else fails if you put in applications they'll keep them on file and will pull them out when they are hire. It all depends on the minor work laws in the state you live in. A lot of places will not allow minors to work during the school year. But then again a lot of places will and have strict stipulations as to the hours you can work during the week. And some just don't care at all. Good luck. |
