Need work!?

OK i graduated with a BS in Business a year ago, GPA 3.01.
And the only jobs i have found are the same minimum wage junk jobs as before! What am i doing wrong!? I admit location may play a role. I live in a small town , no where near a big city. But i have 4 kids and can not afford to move off, i'd have no babysitter or any help.
So how do i go about finding a GOOD job? One that pays well enough that i can take care of all of us? and with my degree what types of jobs should i go for?
i am 29 years old. no criminal record. never been fired. i worked my own way through college and have the debt to show for it. my ex is a bum who doesnt provide healthcare like he is supposed too. he has nothing to do with his kids.
i dont want a handout , i want to be able to make it on my own! i want to be independent and to teach my kids to be the same way!
thanks!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations on graduation and nice g.p.a. Generally business degrees are for people who either want to start their own business or become a manager of one. Perhaps you can look into a online business at home if that's what your looking for. There should also be some stores around you maybe you can apply as manager?
Depending on how small of a town your talking about, you might have to try to move. Look at larger cities' jobs for a while (closest to you). After looking at thier income, then look at the cost of living. You might be able to do it, you just have to look around and do research.
What state do you live in?
I know of a job that has a six figure potential and you are your own boss .. this is not a scam.. if you can talk to people and use the phone everyday and get up and go to work I have the job for you.
look at www.farhc.com and call the state rep and hire on.
I work for this company and so does my husband
A mother of 4 with a low-salary job is tough enough. A BS degree is not low but can't guarantee good jobs. In fact experience is much more important for good salary and promotion. Please don't get frustrated at this time. I believe you would get good salary sooner or later with experience accumulated and a higher-than-average starting point of your educional degree.Good luck!
