What is/are the weirdest question(s) someone asked you in a job interview? |
I'm wondering how far employers are deviating from standard questions. The interviewer asked what my religion was and if I was married. Then after the interview, the guy actually threw a nerf football at my head as I was walking away... I didn't know what to do except to pick it up and hit him square in the forehead with a pretty lucky throw. All this was over a bunch of cubicles. I got the job... How would you react if you had to kill someone? I was applying for a mechanic position one time and the man asked me if I had a tool box - I thought that was a little weird. i once got asked about something dealing with pro football. & i was applying for a photographer job. =/ OH! and recently, i was asked "do you think the country is ready for a female president?" ...i didnt get the job since i said i wasnt voting for her. can you start right now... whats your favorite food? why and relate it to your life . . . When I was relatively new in the job market I was asked by an interviewer how often I had sex with my wife. Expect weird questions in an interview. As long as it is not an illegal question anything goes because it is a conversation. Some interviewers do this to throw off an applicant. Peace and blessings! Do I feel that, since I am a Jew, I would have trouble getting along with co-workers of "other ethnic backgrounds"? My response was to point out that I grew up in NYC. (This job was in Oregon). I got the job. I got along fine with my co-workers. It was a miserable place to work because of the management. |
