What questions do you ask employers when you attend a job interview? Here are some starter questions. You can also ask more specific questions. You should ask questions that are meaningful to you. I've seldom been in an interview (on either side) where there were not a couple questions at the end. 1. What are the career progression opportunities for this position? 2. What types of professional development programs do you offer? 3. What are the critical challenges facing the company at this point in time? 4. What do the future prospects of the company look like? 5. How would you compare this job to position x and company a? 6. What is your favorite aspect of this job? 7. What is your least favorite aspect of this job? 8. How do you like this city? (if you are interviewing outside your home town) 9. Why did you choose to work for this company/industry?
