Question about a job interview today? |
i had a job interview today at kb toystore for an assistant management position. it was my second interview with the district manager i really suck at telling how i did it lasted for an hour and during the middle of the interview i did apologize and state that i was a bit nervous but i did also state that i was very outgoing and a major people person, but during the interview i had him cracking up and laughing and stuff you know not from like punch line jokes but just from my personality and i told him how i would love to have this job and i would do it very well. he told me i would hear from the manager within a week. what do you think? it sounds like you did really well! if you can get the interviewer to laugh, it shows your personality and how relaxed you are. it shows that you are confident no matter what situation you are in. just make sure you send a thank you letter for the interview and state how much you enjoyed speaking to them. good luck! If you can get them to laugh and relax during an interview then you have a good shot. Especially if it was second interview. Good Luck, hope it comes through for you. An interview is a professional process. Having your interviewer cracking up with your jokes and personality isn't going to be what is remembered of your job abilities. Be calm and professional and it's okay to show some personality but maybe you should limit it a bit. You were fantastic! You did great. Don't just sit and wait for them to call you back. You should have 2 or 3 job interview daily until you hear "you're hired". DON'T STOP THERE.... Sounds like you did good to me.In a toy store you are obviously around kids alot, so a happy funny personality is a great quality.
