I want to open my own business. What can I do? |
Sit back and ask yourself. What kind of shop or what kind of service do I need nearby? Then let me know. Thanks :) You have the right idea about going into business. I made the decision when I was in my mid-fifties. I should have done it earlier. It takes a lot of guts to try anything new in today's economy. It is easier, however, if you keep the following in mind. 1.There is always some risk, in trying something new. Your job is not to avoid risk -- there is no way to do that -- but to make sure ahead of time that the risks are manageable. 2.You find this out before you start, by first talking to others who have already done what you are thinking of doing; then you evaluate whether or not you still want to go ahead and try it. 3.Have a Plan B, already laid out, before you start, as to what you will do if it doesn't work out; i.e., know where you are going to go, next. These rules always apply, no matter where you are in your life. Just starting out, already employed, unemployed, in mid-life, recovering after a crisis or accident, facing retirement, or whatever. Do take them seriously. Here are sites, which can help you start your dream business. http://www.entrepreneur.com/ http://www.bizoffice.com/ http://www.inc.com/home/ http://phoenix.about.com/od/employmentan... http://www.cplusplussearch.com/...... I cannot give you business ideas because I do not know what your interests are and where you are located. But if I were to start a business right now it would be a BPO. Peace and every blessing! Good food is almost always a winner anywhere.. Well I know what I need nearby but I have no clue where you live and how it could make any difference what I need or want. If your question is serious then you need to do research in your own area and actually talk to people face to face, not on the internet with no more information than you have given in this spot. I know a small pasta shop in my town who does excellent pasta and its inside a really small shop. He mainly does take aways, but theres a small eating area which is always full. Running cost is low(shop is small), the deco is superbly done (homely feel to it), and its positioned right smack in the CBD. People can come in get their $7 pasta and leave in just 5 mins. Kitchen area is small, all he needs to do is prepare the sauces and freeze it. cook the chicken and pasta before the day starts and freeze it too. Easy stuff pasta! People need food. Crazy idea: Why don't YOU come up with a need to fill? |
