What is it like to be a female police officer with a family?


I am woman in my 20's with a family, and I have just graduated with my BS in criminal justice. I am considering a job as a police officer or some related field. If there are any women police officers out there, I would really appreciate any advice/ perspective they have on what this is like for a woman with family. Thanks!
