Part time or full time?

Hi I was wondering if 37 hours is considered full time or part time. I live in Illinois and I work Tue. through Sun. with only one day off (Monday). I'm supposed to be part-time. Just seems like a lot of hours and little days off for part time.

I'm full-time and only work 37.5 hours per week. Some companies consider employees to be full-time with as little as 32-35 hours. It depends on the employer, but most say full-time is 40 hours.
Part time .... You have to work 40 hrs a week to be considered full time , employers such as walmart for example do this a LOT so they dont have to pay for things like insurance.
The insurance industry is the only that I have heard of working less than 40 hr weeks. I am on salary and technically only paid for 37.75 hrs per week even though I may work more. Usually anything that pays hourly though would need at least 40 to be considered full-time.
20 hrs to is part time and 40 hrs is full time. the max is 80 hrs be for it goes in to over time. it is in the area of full time just 3 hrs short of the 40 hrs.
