When will you know the result if you got the job?if you don't get the job,are they going to call you too? It depends. Sometimes they tell the day of the interview. I had this situation as an interviewer and got to call someone at the airport before he left to give him the good news. Sometimes they tell you the next day or later on. My longest wait was two weeks. I just received an offer letter and package in the mail. Reputable companies should always let you know if did not receive the offer or advance to next round. You can also ask during your interview when you should expect to hear the result. If you've not heard at that point, you can follow up with the HR representative. Usually they will call you if you get the job. I always ask for a time frame at the interview so I know when to expect a call. If you don't get a call in that time frame, chances are you didn't get the job. Normally you will get a letter in the mail or sometimes an email when you don't get the job. It usually depends on "how bad they need you"... If they are more interested in leaving the office to go fishing rather then taking a look at the aplications... Then they will usually call you "later that week"... Or when-ever they feel that they need you... And no they will not call you if you don't get the job.. Most employers dont give a **** if you dont get the job... Ps. Employers dont have a obligation to call you back if you dont get the job. Sorry for being straight forward... good luck anyways!
