What is an average salary for a Researcher/Recruiter in the IT industry in London? |
I'd be grateful if anyone could help me out with this. Please don't tell me to check out the salary checkers on Monster and such, because I already have done but they're too general and do not come up with an accurate result. There are too many variables to give you a good answer here, not least beacuse recruitment is a particularly target driven environment and levels of experience can make a huge difference to earnings. I assume that you mean a new entrant to the profession. In which case it is about 拢20-22k. Advertisments will quote vastly inflated salaries on an OTE basis, but starting out this is unrealistic. Within a few years, assuming you are not rubbish at the job and can hack it, 拢30k is realistic. I have deliberately ignored the reference to researcher as I am not sure in what capacity you mean IT researcher. Clarify and I will give you a better answer :) The term "researcher" means someone who works in the executive search sector to generate names and make initial approaches on behalf of the recruiter. It is not largely target-driven. I am a "new entrant to the position" and have started on a salary of 拢30.5 K - I just wanted to check if this is okay. You are obviously way off the mark and clearly do not know what you are on about. Inept Telecom is not internationally recognised, yet, as an industry. I would say between 拢14,000 to 拢20,000 a year .It depends a lot on your qualifications and your future employers status. |
