I am 13 years old and i'm looking for a part time job. I wouldn't mind it being in a shop or a vets but what's the best job at my age. Please help. How about a paper round, it gives you good exercise too. you're too young to work. In most places the minimum is 14 but in real life its 16. paper round.!! You'll be too young to work and if some place do take you on they will pay you amounts next to nothing!!!The only job i can realli suggest is paper round or if one of ur relatives owns a shop or business they may be able to give u a job! hi, Obviously you have not asked your mother this question [ a shame] 13!!! when are you 14 ? you can't get a paper round till you are 14, part time jobs 16, if someone took you on way before 16 they would be breaking Health and Safety Laws and Employment laws too , and YOU will not be insured too , what happens if you have an accident aged 14 1/2 when you should be 16 , 1, you would be in trouble and 2, your employer would for breaking the law, anyways most places nowadays will ask to see your Birth Certificate to prove your age and maybe your N.I number too. Please don't try and run before you can walk. my past Well if your into baseball like me, you could do what i did. My house was right by a Little League baseball park. There were alot of young kids (5-10yr old) that played baseball and in this park there where over 15 games going on at once. So of course the park needed umpires to umpire the game and make sure that every game is being played right. I umpired about 10-15 games a week from age 13-15. For every game (about 2 hours) i got 14 dollars. So its about $7 bucks an hour. Trust me its not a bad pay knowing that you only 13. Try it. If your not interested in baseball, look and see if they need umpires for some other sport. Besides that there are really no jobs that a 13yr old can get. Maybe you could go mow peoples lawn or somethin. If your gonna do a sports, you better know everything about it, all rules and regulations. Well Good Luck! |
