Help with how to bring up a raise!? |
Ok long story short I started working for a new company almost 5 months ago. I love working there. They have yet to do my 3 month review, I'm not sure why or if they want to see how I handle this high stress job for a bit longer. I did ask about the review right at 3 months but my boss said yes I promise we will do that but Ino promises on when. So work has changed up a bit since I started I have a new account that needs attention 7 days a week vs the typical M-F plus I'm on call which was set from the beginning. I'm exhausted & I see my personal life slipping away...Is it too soon to ask for a raise, if not how should I attempt to bring this up AGAIN? Thanks! First you have to ask yourself is giving a personal life worth it. Do you enjoy what you actually do. Bujt as far as having an account that has to have attention 7 days a week. Well it is actually against the law to work more than 21 days in a row in any given month atleast in california that is. I would approach your boss and let him know kindly but firm as well that it has been over 5 months and Im still yet without a review. I would wait on using the term raise and just speak on getting a review. |
