I have NO IDEA what i want to be?

yeah i want to be successful, but i want a job that i enjoy doing.
i will be graduating next june and all my friends eem to be set on what they want to do... are there any surveys out there that could help me decide?

much help greatly appreciated.

I don't think you should be expected to know definitely what will become your true passion...and I hope you find that. Many people specialize in education only to find that they don't like the field that they have chosen. (My sister - teacher to librarian to human resources manager to lawyer to...unhappy) Her real passion is saving cats but not much money in that.

There probably are surveys but doesn't your school have career counselling or some form of assistance in this matter? You didn't say where you are living or what you took in school or from which level you are graduating. If it is high school, you can consider a university that has general education requirements, so that you don't have to pick a major right away.

You have the option to take a year off to explore. Doing temp work will help you make money for more school and expose you to a number of different work environments (all kinds, believe me).

I worked at a commodities brokerage house and they offered me a permanent job. I said "no, thanks, (too stressful), and ended up working with homeless people (lots of stress but more worthwhile). So, I didn't discover a passion until in my thirties. I had tried the music business, theatre and office work.

Try volunteering. You may find you are interested in working in the public sector.

Anyway, good luck and don't rush yourself. Make choices that don't close doors. Give yourself a break and a chance to discover who you are.
stripper?
Lots of people have no clue what they want to be. The only thing I can suggest is to not worry that much about it. Even take a year off after high school with a normal job and just start researching/thinking about what you'd like to do and research those things. Eventually you'll find the right thing for you. But don't make it seem deathly important. There are people years older than you who still really don't know what they want to be.
well i dont think you should worry because when you understand more things. as time moves on your choise will veary and you will make things more clear as time moves on ... trust me!! ... hope i could helpp !!!! summer_yehh
If you want to be success full and make Good money,Go with working at a pharmacy they make good money and sometimes it can be fun you will be able to discover and learn new things and help many people!
You can be successful in any work related field so pick something you enjoy doing. What do you like to spend time doing? If your going into college start with your general classes (Math, English, Etc.) cause you'll have to take those no matter which direction you go. Eventually it will come to you. I couldn't decide either till i got out and started working. Just find something you really enjoy and success will be sure to follow.
