Scared to call my job after so long, what should I say? |
I work at abercrombie kids. They never give me any hours and when they do let me work either they let me get off early or they only let me work that day out of the whole week. I got tired of it and now its been at least 4 weeks since I called to see if I can get any hours. Now I want to see if I'm ACTUALLY still an employee there...so when I call should I say "I was wondering if I can get my schedule" like I usually do and have them tell me my schedule or tell me I'm fired......or should I ask them in a way to see if I'm still an emloyee. The point of all this is to see if I'm still an emloyee. Because I think after all this time that I haven't worked or called in to check my schedule....I think they fired me without knowing. Do you think I'm already fired? If not...since I haven't called in a while what should I say? Well first you didn't exactly act professional. And of course you are fired. Even if they didn't give you a lot of hours they still gave you some and then you just disappeared. So you can always call but honestly what's the point? Next time instead of doing that you should talk to who ever is in charge because you have to think that for you to get another job, you usually need some references from the jobs you had before. So you might want to be a little bit more professional. I don't think that Abercrombie cares if you go to work or not, but it would of been nice for you to tell them you were quitting and maybe if you had told them that you didn't have enough hours they would of giving you more. Talking and honesty is always the best policy. Good luck just call and find out and you should prolly start looking for a new job Trust me your already fired, if you've skipped work days your let go. i would call to check schedule. Hmm.. on second thought.. yep, you're fired. hun YOU ARE FIRED...if you couldnt figure out that on your own, i see exactly why they fired you. yeah, just call, say hey this is ME and i was just wondering if i have any scheduled hours this week or next week. if they say no, then ask them, should u bother coming in or checking ur schedule anymore. |
